Off To A Better Future

A brand film for five companies building a carbon-neutral logistics centre together — solar in, hydrogen out, trucks running on it.

Five companies, one facility. Sunrock puts solar on the roof, that power splits water into hydrogen with Hyzon, DAF trucks run on the hydrogen, and DHG and Logwise provide the logistics and storage the whole thing exists to serve. The film follows that chain from sunlight to fuel to a truck leaving the yard, and closes on the line it was built around: off to a better future.

The challenge

The story is a supply chain, and supply chains are the least cinematic thing in the world — five companies, five logos, and a process that happens invisibly across a roof, an electrolyser and a fuel nozzle. It also had to belong to all five partners at once without becoming any single one of their brand films.

The approach

Everything is rendered in a single white, near-monochrome material so no partner’s colour dominates and the facility reads as one system rather than five logos on a wall. The copy is built as extruded 3D type standing inside the scenes — WHY NOT START TODAY, FROM SOLAR TO H2 FUEL — so the argument lives in the same space as the buildings instead of being pasted over the top. The logistics centres were modelled from scratch, and the facility arrives on screen as an exploded view assembled with geometry nodes, so the building explains its own parts as it comes together.

The result

The film ends on the partner lockup — DAF, Sunrock, Logwise, Hyzon, DHG — under one line: OFF TO A BETTER FUTURE.

My role

All animation in house. Modelling of the logistics facilities, the geometry-nodes exploded-view system, 3D typography, lighting, look-dev and rendering.
