A fully 3D-printed surveillance console with live CCTV feeds running over Raspberry Pi, physical controls, and a game that puts the visitor in the chair of a cybersecurity officer. Exhibited in Utrecht, 2026, and now touring as a bookable experience.

The challenge

Cybersecurity is invisible. Posters and e-learning modules describe it, which is why almost nobody remembers them. The problem was not explaining the subject — it was turning an abstract, screen-bound risk into something a person could physically touch, get wrong, and learn from in the ninety seconds they will actually give an exhibition stand.

The approach

Built as one piece of work rather than content bolted onto a rented kiosk: a console modelled and 3D-printed in-house, physical switches and dials wired through a Raspberry Pi, live CCTV feeds from cameras placed around the building, and a real-time game layer that reacts to what the visitor does. Interaction is deliberately physical — you operate something and the room responds. Everything had to work for an untrained visitor, unattended, for a full exhibition day, and still pack into a van afterwards.
